NVIDIA is reportedly progressing smoothly with the development of its next-generation AI chips, with the GPU 'Vera' and CPU 'Rubin' scheduled to complete tape-outs this month. Customer samples are anticipated to be available in September, leading to mass production in early 2026. The Vera Rubin NVL144 rack-scale system, powered by these two chips, is set for release in the second half of next year, promising a projected 3.3x performance improvement over its predecessor. The Rubin GPU leverages TSMC's advanced 3rd-generation 3nm process and integrates 8 HBM4 memory chips using CoWoS-L technology, ensuring robust and efficient performance.
