Baker Hughes has announced its intent to sell its Precision Sensors and Instrumentation (PSI) product line to Crane for a sum of $1.15 billion. This strategic move aims to streamline Baker Hughes' product portfolio and align it more closely with the ongoing global energy transition. The transaction encompasses renowned brands such as Druck, Reuter-Stokes, and Panametrics, and is projected to yield $390 million in revenue and an adjusted EBITDA of $60 million by 2025. The completion of this deal is anticipated by the end of 2025 or early 2026. Furthermore, Baker Hughes has also divested a portion of its surface pressure control business to bolster profitability and ensure cash flow stability.
