Initial speculations hinted at the RTX 5050 adopting GDDR7 memory, but recent updates from NVIDIA assure its key graphics card partners that the RTX 5050 will retain GDDR6 memory. The graphics card is anticipated to be powered by the GB207-300-A1 GPU, boasting 2560 CUDA cores, complemented by 8GB of GDDR6 memory, and set to operate at a power consumption of 130W. Its release is penciled in for July. Positioned as an entry-level offering within the RTX 50 series, the RTX 5050 is primarily aimed at mainstream gamers and light content creators.
