During the first four months of this year, the Yangtze River Delta region achieved a record-breaking total import and export value of 5.29 trillion yuan. New business models, including cross-border e-commerce and market procurement, are flourishing. Additionally, high-end equipment such as ships and machine tools have demonstrated robust performance. Notably, the Yangtze River Delta region accounts for nearly 70% of China's total machine tool exports, with over 100,000 units of high-end machine tools exported, representing more than 50% of the national figure. This signifies a significant leap for the region's manufacturing industry towards the high-end of the industrial chain.
