ZKE Technology has announced that its subsidiary, Hunan ZKE Star City Graphite Co., Ltd.'s wholly-owned Hong Kong entity, ZKE Star City (Hong Kong) Holdings Limited, intends to establish a project company in Oman for the construction of an integrated base dedicated to producing 200,000 tons of lithium-ion battery anode materials annually. The total investment for this project is capped at 8 billion yuan. The project will be executed in two phases, each with a production capacity of 100,000 tons per year, and an anticipated construction duration of 36 months for both phases combined. ZKE Technology emphasized that this strategic move is aimed at catering to the demands of the overseas market and bolstering its global market presence. Nevertheless, the project is not without its challenges, encompassing risks associated with construction approvals, fund mobilization, price volatility, shifts in market demand, managerial and operational hurdles, legal and policy uncertainties, as well as exchange rate fluctuations.
