The National Energy Administration has unveiled the initial batch of pilot projects aimed at constructing a novel power system, with a focus on bolstering the efficiency of new energy power stations in regions experiencing supply shortages or heightened consumption pressures. This initiative involves either establishing or upgrading power stations, leveraging advanced long-term, high-precision power forecasting and intelligent joint regulation technologies for wind and solar energy storage. These enhancements are designed to improve system compatibility and ensure that the stations' reliable output during peak hours is augmented by at least 10% for a duration of no less than two hours. To facilitate seamless operation, these power stations will enter into coordinated scheduling agreements with the dispatching agency, outlining operational protocols, reliable capacity, and support duration. Additionally, the stations will be required to preemptively submit power prediction results and generation plan recommendations, enabling the dispatching agency to refine its regulations and integrate the stations into daily power balancing based on the submitted data.
