In collaboration with domestic technology enterprises, the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has successfully executed a technology experiment for a next-generation high-order, high-throughput satellite-ground data transmission system at the Lijiang Station. Through the simulation of satellite data transmission, the experiment demonstrated a remarkable achievement of 2100 megabits per second (Mbps) throughput on a single X-band channel, marking a 75% increase in code rate and setting a new national benchmark. This feat, which leverages a 128-QAM modulation and demodulation mode, offers robust support for the advancement of satellite-ground communication technology.
