Foxconn Assembly LLC., a subsidiary of the Foxconn Group, has announced the acquisition of the leasehold rights for two factories located in Houston, Texas, USA. The total contract rental amount for these factories amounts to approximately US$56.5538 million (equivalent to approximately NT$1.698 billion). This strategic investment is widely seen as Foxconn's ongoing commitment to expanding its artificial intelligence (AI) server production lines in Texas, catering specifically to the needs of North American customers. The lease terms for the two factories extend over 122 months and 124 months, respectively, covering a combined area of 601,600 square feet.
