Since the dawn of this year, foreign institutions have enthusiastically embraced their roles as cornerstone investors in Hong Kong stock initial public offerings (IPOs). As of June 3, 15 newly listed companies have welcomed foreign capital into their cornerstone investor portfolios, marking a substantial surge compared to the same period last year. Foreign investors have primarily focused on sectors such as new consumption, new energy, and pharmaceuticals, aiming to capitalize on the benefits of China's industrial upgrading through cornerstone investments. This influx underscores their recognition of the long-term value inherent in China's core assets.
