The Aylo Group, proprietor of Pornhub, Redtube, and YouPorn, intends to halt the provision of adult content to French users as early as Wednesday afternoon. This move comes in protest against the French government's newly implemented regulation mandating age verification for all visitors. On Tuesday, senior management at Aylo Group announced that their platform, Aylo Freesites, would display a message to French users detailing this decision. The message will highlight their reluctance to compromise user privacy in compliance with the new regulation. According to the French law, adult websites must verify users' ages and prevent minors from accessing them, with non-compliant sites facing potential blocking. In response, Aylo Group has filed a lawsuit challenging this legislation.
