With the rapid advancement of AI technology driving up electricity demand, Constellation Energy Corp., a prominent provider of clean energy in the United States, has entered into an agreement with Meta Platforms Inc. to supply electricity generated from a nuclear power plant in Illinois. Under the terms of the 20-year contract, Meta will commence purchasing power from this nuclear facility in mid-2027. Furthermore, this partnership may pave the way for Constellation Energy to construct an additional reactor at the nuclear power plant.
