Tesla's energy storage super factory's distributed photovoltaic power generation and energy storage system project, funded by Lingang Green Innovation Company, is slated for completion by the end of this year. This groundbreaking initiative marks Shanghai's first large-scale industrial and commercial photovoltaic-storage microgrid project, featuring a 6-megawatt photovoltaic system and an 8-megawatt-hour energy storage system. Utilizing Tesla's locally manufactured Megapack, the project aims to achieve 100% local consumption of clean energy, while storing and reusing excess electricity, effectively installing a 'massive power bank' for Tesla's Shanghai facility.
