Google has announced that due to the persistent non-compliance and lack of improvement on the part of Chunghwa Telecom and Netlock, it will revoke trust in the root certificates (ROOT CA) issued by these two companies in the upcoming Chrome 139 version, scheduled for release on August 1, 2025. This decision signifies that beginning with Chrome 139, the browser will by default cease to recognize new certificates issued by Chunghwa Telecom and Netlock.
