Broadcom has recently announced significant changes to its VMware partner program, eliminating the entry-level partnership tier. The program now comprises three distinct levels: Pinnacle, Premier, and Select. This realignment is designed to enable Broadcom to concentrate its efforts on customers with extensive VMware deployments. Affected partners have been duly notified and will have a 60-day transition period. Broadcom emphasized that this decision stems from a strategic review and reassessment of its partner ecosystem, where the majority of customer impact and business growth originates from partners in the top three tiers.
