Wangcheng Economic Development Zone has signed an agreement with Aman Photoelectric for the establishment of a semiconductor equipment R&D and production base project, which carries a total investment of 200 million yuan and is projected to generate an annual output value exceeding 500 million yuan. Shanghai-based Aman Photoelectric, a specialist in the R&D of essential semiconductor equipment, envisions this project as a hub for research and development, remanufacturing, equipment exhibition and promotion, as well as talent training. The aim is to drive industrial upgrading in Changsha and bolster the semiconductor industry in Wangcheng.
