Initially, the factory equipped this graphics card with thermal gel as its heat dissipation medium. However, prior reports have highlighted instances of thermal gel leakage in certain other brand graphics cards when mounted vertically. Acknowledging this, the manufacturers concerned have admitted to excessive gel application in early batches and have since modified their production processes to avert future occurrences.
