Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing has disclosed that the company's self-developed Xuanjie chip is presently tailored for flagship products, with no immediate plans for integration into non-flagship series, in order to guarantee supply stability. Xiaomi intends to maintain its partnerships with Qualcomm and MediaTek, with the Xuanjie chip operating alongside these two in the foreseeable future. Per the agreement, Xiaomi's flagship smartphones will continue to leverage the Snapdragon 8 series platform, with the Xiaomi 16 series slated to feature the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in the second half of the year, rather than the Xuanjie chip. The Xuanjie chip will primarily find its place in specific models, such as S series phones and Ultra tablets.
