From January to April 2025, the profit figures of industrial enterprises revealed a robust surge in the earnings of high-tech manufacturing. Specifically, profits in this sector grew by 9.0% year-on-year, marking an increase of 5.5 percentage points compared to the period from January to March. This growth rate also outpaced the average for industries above a certain size by 7.6 percentage points. At the industry level, a pronounced shift towards high-end manufacturing was evident, as biopharmaceuticals and aircraft manufacturing industries witnessed profit growth of 24.3% and 27.0%, respectively. Furthermore, the "AI+" initiative has been extensively implemented, driving significant profit gains in sectors such as specialized equipment manufacturing for semiconductor devices (105.1%), electronic circuit manufacturing (43.1%), and integrated circuit manufacturing (42.2%). Additionally, intelligent products have accelerated digital and intelligent transformation, with industries like intelligent in-vehicle equipment manufacturing, intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing, and wearable intelligent device manufacturing achieving rapid profit growth of 177.4%, 167.9%, and 80.9%, respectively.
