At COMPUTEX 2025, AMD unveiled the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, powered by the Navi 44 GPU built on the RDNA 4 architecture, available in both 8GB and 16GB memory configurations. Responding to doubts raised by some gamers regarding the adequacy of the 8GB memory capacity for peak performance, AMD's Chief Architect affirmed that the majority of gamers continue to play at 1080P resolution, for which 8GB of memory is ample. For those demanding additional memory, the 16GB version is also available, with both models offering identical GPU performance. This move aims to address the ongoing debate sparked by NVIDIA's recent release of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB of memory.
