On May 21, fresh data from the Silicon Industry Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association revealed that polysilicon prices have remained steady over the past week. Wang Tieshan, Director of the Industrial Development and Investment Research Center at Xi'an Polytechnic University, emphasized that despite a recent surge in prices across the photovoltaic industry chain due to an "installation rush," the fundamental imbalance between supply and demand remains unresolved. Consequently, there is a lack of strong momentum for further price hikes. As the "installation rush" subsides, polysilicon prices briefly declined but are now showing signs of stabilization, and it is anticipated that they will hold within the current price range for an extended period.
