Elon Musk disclosed on Tuesday that Tesla and xAI anticipate continuing to procure chips from NVIDIA and AMD, as well as potentially other companies. Musk further stated that xAI, the entity formerly known as Twitter and now the owner of the X platform, has already deployed 200,000 GPUs at the Colossus facility in Memphis. Additionally, xAI has ambitious plans to construct a new facility just outside of Memphis, equipped with an impressive 1 million GPUs.
