State Grid has proudly announced the launch of a high-proportion renewable energy large-scale grid operation and control system, developed entirely within China. This achievement signifies that China has conquered the formidable challenge of integrating ultra-large-scale renewable energy into the grid, a problem of global significance. Currently, renewable energy installations in China constitute over 40% of the country's total energy capacity. The newly unveiled system encompasses more than 60,000 substations and hundreds of thousands of renewable energy stations, facilitating the swift and cost-effective deployment of 360 million kilowatts of renewable energy daily. This makes State Grid the largest grid in the world in terms of renewable energy consumption.
