According to a report by the Financial Times, the US Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is contemplating an expansion of its "export blacklist." Roughly two months ago, the bureau imposed export restrictions on approximately 80 Chinese companies, listing them on the "Entity List." Despite recent tariff disputes showing signs of easing, political tensions between China and the US persist at a high level.
