The 2025 Heilongjiang Province Information and Communications Industry Conference convened recently in Harbin, revealing that the province has successfully established a total of 87,200 5G base stations. This achievement ensures comprehensive coverage in regions above the township level, administrative villages, and scenic spots rated 3A and above. During 2024, Heilongjiang surpassed its construction goal of 15,000 5G base stations, prioritizing the enhancement of network coverage along tourist routes and within popular scenic areas. Looking ahead to 2025, the province aims to tackle signal blind spots within urban underground spaces. Furthermore, during the Asian Winter Games, Heilongjiang executed a "signal upgrade" strategy, bolstering 4G and 5G signal reach in border regions, undertaking a comprehensive upgrade of IPv6 network capabilities, and optimizing computing power distribution. The "trade-in" program for home broadband terminals has also been a resounding success, benefiting over one million users. The conference featured keynote addresses and technical presentations delivered by esteemed experts.
