HKEx to Launch Monthly Options on CATL Listing Day and Weekly Options on June 2

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has announced that Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) will commence trading on May 20, 2025. To enhance investor options, HKEx will introduce a range of products and measures on this date. Notably, monthly options on CATL will be available concurrently with the listing, while weekly options contracts will be launched on June 2. Additionally, related derivative warrants will be listed on the day of CATL's trading debut. Furthermore, CATL shares will be promptly included in the list of designated securities eligible for short selling upon listing.
