On May 15, Bloomberg reported that in response to the United States' reduction of tariffs on Chinese imports, the cross-border e-commerce giant Shein swiftly acted by decreasing its retail prices in the US within a week. This move aimed to regain the trust of consumers who had been deterred by previously higher prices. Bloomberg's continuous monitoring of 98 products on Shein's official website revealed that by Wednesday, the average price of these items had dropped to $5.56, marking a decrease of approximately 13% from the peak price of $6.38 recorded on May 7.
