Seven departments, led by the Ministry of Science and Technology, have collectively released the "Policy Measures to Accelerate the Construction of a Science and Technology Financial System and Support High-Level Self-Reliance in Science and Technology." The document underscores the importance of fostering innovation in technology insurance products and services. It outlines a roadmap for high-quality development, establishes coordination mechanisms, optimizes support policies, and outlines policy support strategies for key sectors. Additionally, it mandates the enhancement of an insurance product and service system that spans the entire lifecycle of technology-based enterprises, alongside refining innovation mechanisms and regulatory incentive policies. Furthermore, the document explores the utilization of co-insurance entities to provide risk protection for technology insurance in pivotal areas, initiating pilot projects for risk diversification in significant technological breakthroughs, pilot testing, and cybersecurity. It also encourages insurance funds to actively engage in major national science and technology initiatives.
