On May 13, NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, revealed that the tech giant would supply more than 18,000 of its latest artificial intelligence chips to the Saudi Arabian enterprise Humain. These state-of-the-art Blackwell chips will power a 500-megawatt data center situated in Saudi Arabia. The GB300 Blackwell chip, launched earlier this year, stands as one of NVIDIA's most advanced AI offerings. The announcement further underscored the significance of NVIDIA chips as a strategic asset in international competition, with various nations keenly pursuing them for the training and deployment of AI software, including ChatGPT.
