On May 13, Danish energy firm European Energy announced the official completion of the world's first commercial-scale electronic methanol plant, the Kassø electronic methanol facility. This groundbreaking plant will supply major partners such as Maersk, LEGO, and Novo Nordisk. Developed by European Energy and operated jointly with Mitsui & Co., the facility boasts an annual production capacity of 42,000 tons and runs entirely on renewable energy.
