Tiny Corp has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by introducing the world's first external graphics card designed specifically for Apple Mac platforms, utilizing a USB3 interface. Additionally, this graphics card is compatible with Linux and Windows systems. Historically, external graphics cards have predominantly relied on Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB4 interfaces, both rooted in PCIe technology, which limits compatibility with older platforms due to bandwidth constraints. Apple devices, constrained by architectural distinctions and a dearth of drivers, have not traditionally supported external graphics cards.

Tiny Corp has ingeniously overcome these hurdles by enabling graphics card connectivity via USB3 using the ADT-UT3G docking station, powered by the ASMedia ASM2464PD control chip, alongside custom firmware. The graphics card in question is the AMD RX 9070 XT. While performance is inevitably restricted by the USB3 bandwidth (10Gbps), this innovative solution presents Apple users with a novel opportunity to harness external graphics capabilities.
