RF IC vendor Richwave announced NT$849 million in revenue for the first quarter, marking a 5% decrease quarter-over-quarter and a 1% decline year-over-year. Notably, Wi-Fi FEM accounted for a substantial 56% of total revenue, and the company anticipates this proportion to surge to 70%-80% in the second half of the year. Richwave forecasts a stable or modest revenue growth for the second quarter and aims to achieve double-digit growth for the entire year. Amidst evolving US-China trade dynamics, Richwave has implemented a dual supply chain strategy encompassing Taiwan and China, paving the way for new market opportunities, notably a significant breakthrough in Broadcom platform certification.
