Ryan Kramer, a 25-year-old Californian man operating under the pseudonym 'NullBulge' and a member of the hacker group by the same name, has admitted to illegally accessing Disney's internal Slack channels and stealing over 1.1 terabytes of company data. According to the United States Department of Justice, in early 2024, Kramer developed a malicious program and marketed it as an AI image generation tool on platforms such as GitHub, using this guise to conceal his hacking activities. Prior to this confession, the NullBulge group had boasted on dark web forums about breaching Disney's systems and leaking related data. However, Disney officials have yet to officially confirm the validity of this hack, merely stating that an investigation is ongoing. This incident has once again sparked widespread concerns regarding corporate data security.
