In an effort to curb costs, Samsung intends to incorporate its proprietary Exynos 2500 chip into the Galaxy Z Flip7, slated for release in July 2025. Despite entering mass production in February this year, the Exynos 2500 faces a constrained supply owing to a modest yield rate of just 20%-40%. Amidst speculations that the Galaxy Z Flip7 might adopt the Snapdragon 8Elite chip, Samsung ultimately opted for the Exynos 2500, driven by cost considerations. The company anticipates manufacturing 200,000 units of the Galaxy Z Flip7 by June, with production volumes subject to adjustments based on chip yield rates and market demand.
