In collaboration with the National Institute of Metrology in China, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt in Germany, and the School of Physics at Peking University, the microwave photonics team at the School of Electronic Engineering at Peking University has introduced an innovative two-point frequency division method. Leveraging a highly coherent dual-wavelength laser and an electro-optic comb, this method not only delves into the noise limitations of the system but also attains groundbreaking results, significantly streamlining the intricate design of conventional approaches.
