Intel to Initiate Mass Production of 18A Process Node in 2025

On April 30, Intel unveiled its updated roadmap for process technology, encompassing advancements like 18A-P and 14A. Intel's CEO, Pat Gelsinger, disclosed that the company anticipates ramping up mass production of the 18A process node in the second half of 2025. The initial product, codenamed Panther Lake, is set for release by the end of the same year. Currently, Intel has commenced production of early pilot wafers for the 18A-P, and its Fab 52 factory in Arizona has successfully completed tape-outs for the 18A process node.
