LG Energy Solution (LGES), a leading South Korean manufacturer of electric vehicle batteries, unveiled its financial report on Wednesday, revealing a robust first-quarter performance. The company posted a net profit of KRW 226.6 billion (approximately USD 158.3 million), marking a 6.8% year-on-year increase. Notably, its operating profit soared by an impressive 138.2% year-on-year to reach KRW 374.7 billion. Furthermore, LGES's revenue climbed to KRW 6.26 trillion, reflecting a 2.2% year-on-year growth.
