In light of President Trump's tariff policy, IDC has revised its prediction for global IT spending growth, reducing it from an initial forecast of 10% to 5% by 2025. Initially, IDC anticipated that IT spending would reach $4.1 trillion by 2025, marking a 10% increase year-on-year. However, if tariffs escalate and these costs are passed on to consumers, demand for products such as smartphones, personal computers, and servers could potentially decline.
