Recently, Korean gamers have reported an overflow of thermal gel on GIGABYTE RTX 5080 graphics cards, specifically originating from the GPU area. In response, GIGABYTE has officially stated that the RTX 50 series graphics cards incorporate a new thermal gel that has successfully undergone extensive testing. The observed overflow was attributed to an over-application during the early production phases and does not compromise the performance, reliability, or lifespan of the cards. Subsequent batches have already adjusted the application amount to prevent such occurrences.
