The State Administration for Market Regulation aims to refine the supervision system for online transactions, bolster law enforcement, and ensure platform accountability, thereby enhancing the overall online shopping environment. As part of a dedicated campaign in 2024, a comprehensive review and resolution of 36,000 online-related cases were undertaken. This initiative also involved the removal of 287,000 pieces of illegal commodity information and the shutdown of 2,619 websites, markedly fostering the healthy growth of the platform economy.
