During the first quarter, the nationwide rail-sea intermodal transportation of commercial vehicles witnessed a remarkable year-on-year growth of 33.62%. Leveraging digital platforms and "one-stop" services, the railway sector has significantly enhanced transportation efficiency, fortifying the international competitiveness of the automotive industry. Highlighting Shanghai Port as a case study, data from the Shanghai Branch of China Railway Special Cargo reveals that as of April 21, the number of commercial vehicles exported via railway to the port surpassed 200,000 units, marking an increase of over 20% compared to the same period last year.
