Bloomberg reports that the United States will slap tariffs as high as 3521% on solar cells imported from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Collectively, these four Southeast Asian countries supplied over three-quarters of the photovoltaic modules to the U.S. market in the previous year. The Wall Street Journal observes that these severe tariffs are poised to significantly hinder the sales of these products in the American market.
