Limited (CATL) introduced the second-generation Shenxing ultra-fast charging battery, marking a groundbreaking achievement as the world's first lithium iron phosphate battery to deliver both an 800-kilometer range and a peak charging rate of 12C. This innovative battery showcases a peak charging power exceeding 1.3 megawatts, facilitating a driving range of over 520 kilometers with a mere 5 minutes of charging, and an impressive 75 kilometers in just 30 seconds. Remarkably, its fast-charging capabilities remain uncompromised in cold temperatures, allowing a recharge from 5% to 80% in just 15 minutes at -10°C. Additionally, this battery seamlessly integrates with all megawatt-level charging stations currently available on the market.
