On February 7, Japanese conglomerate SG Holdings announced its intention to acquire Taiwan-based semiconductor logistics specialist Morrison Express Worldwide for a sum of $900 million. The acquisition is set to transform Morrison into a wholly-owned subsidiary of SG Holdings by July of this year. Known for its robust air transportation services for chips and motors, Morrison boasts a global network of 90 stations. SG Holdings' strategic move aims to fortify its international logistics operations, catering to the demands of its corporate clientele. Additionally, the company has ambitions to expand its market presence in India, China, and Southeast Asia.
