Recently, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang paid a visit to Taiwan, sparking rumors that SPIL, a subsidiary of ASE Technology Holding, has acquired CoW process orders from TSMC's CoWoS capacity. This marks ASE's full-fledged entry into the AI sector. In response, ASE has augmented its advanced packaging capacity at its Kaohsiung facility, while SPIL has concurrently established new production lines at its Central Science and Technology Park and Huwei plants, with mass production anticipated in the latter half of the year. This strategic move is poised to substantially elevate ASE Technology Holding's market share in the advanced packaging domain.
