A significant microcode vulnerability, identified as CVE-2024-56161 with a CVSS score of 7.2, has been uncovered in AMD's CPUs spanning from the Zen 1 to Zen 4 architectures. This vulnerability was detected by the Google the Security Research Team on September 25, 2024, and promptly reported to AMD.
