TechInsights has unveiled a groundbreaking 16nm DRAM chip from CXMT (ChangXin Memory Technologies) within Guangwei's DDR-6000 UDIMM module, affirming the remarkable strides made by China's memory industry. This 16Gb DDR5 chip from CXMT boasts a compact size of 67 square millimeters, achieving a density of 0.239Gb per square millimeter. Notably, the size of this DRAM cell has been trimmed down by 20% compared to CXMT's previous G3 generation.
