T-Mobile is currently conducting initial trials of Starlink services on a limited number of iPhones, empowering users to control satellite functionalities via a newly integrated toggle switch. Elon Musk revealed that the current satellite constellation is capable of transmitting medium-resolution images and audio content, with plans for the next generation to support video streaming. This alliance came as a shock, as T-Mobile had previously utilized Starlink exclusively for certain Samsung phones, while Apple collaborated with Globalstar to offer emergency services. Consequently, Globalstar's share price plummeted by nearly 11% upon this announcement.
