Recently, the Guangdong Securities Regulatory Bureau has issued a regulatory penalty notice to Ping An Securities and two of its responsible individuals, concerning a STAR Market IPO project that was withdrawn in 2020. The penalty notice highlighted that Ping An Securities concealed the actual trading scheme of Quantum Microelectronics Design, leading to the inclusion of false records in the listing application documents.
