CALB has recently been served with a civil complaint by the Higher People's Court of Hunan Province. In this complaint, CATL has filed intellectual property infringement claims concerning CALB's secondary battery top cover components and an invention patent. CATL demands that CALB immediately cease all manufacturing, selling, and offering to sell related products, and is seeking compensation for economic losses amounting to 110 million yuan, along with reasonable expenses of 1 million yuan. CALB has responded by asserting that the products involved in the lawsuit possess complete and independent intellectual property rights, and that there has been no infringement. The company anticipates that this lawsuit will not have a material adverse impact on its current or future production and operations. As of now, the case has not yet been heard in court.
