In the aftermath of the recent earthquake, TSMC's southern Taiwan wafer fabrication facility has undergone extensive emergency repairs. Specifically, Fab 18, which specializes in advanced 3nm and 5nm processes, successfully resumed full production on the 23rd, with an estimated number of damaged wafers not exceeding 30,000. On the other hand, the resumption date for Fab 14, which handles more mature processes, remains undetermined as it continues to undergo emergency repairs.
